NNAP and MBRRACE-UK publish new reports
New reports published recently include the National Neonatal Audit Programme (NNAP) summary report on 2022 data and the MBRRACE-UK Saving Lives report 2023.
NNAP Annual Summary Report on 2022 Data
The NNAP has published its summary report based on data relating to babies discharged from neonatal care between January and December 2022. The report assesses whether babies admitted to neonatal units receive consistent high-quality care in relation to the NNAP audit measures that are aligned to a set of professionally agreed guidelines and standards. The audit reports on key outcomes of neonatal care, measures of optimal perinatal care, maternal breastmilk feeding, parental partnership, neonatal nurse staffing levels and other important care processes.

Saving Lives, Improving Mothers’ Care Report 2023
The Maternal, Newborn and Infant Clinical Outcome Review Programme, which is delivered by MBRRACE-UK, has published its Saving Lives, Improving Mothers’ Care State of the Nation Surveillance Report, on surveillance findings from the UK Confidential Enquiries into Maternal Deaths 2019-21.
