Neonatal Nurse of the Year awards 2023

The Neonatal Nurses Association’s (NNA) will give three awards in 2023 to celebrate neonatal nurses, allied health professionals and teams. Each award will recognise the efforts, expertise and commitment of neonatal staff.

The awards are:

  1. NNA Neonatal Nurse of the Year award, sponsored by Drager. This will be awarded to an inspirational neonatal nurse who has made an extraordinary difference to the lives of their colleagues, the babies in their care or to families
  2. NNA Neonatal Team of the Year award, sponsored by Armstrong Medical. This will acknowledge a neonatal team for incredible efforts to improve the neonatal experience for colleagues, babies and families
  3. NNA Practice Development award. This prize will acknowledge an individual or team that has gone above and beyond in their efforts to improve practice.

There will be a £1,000 prize for each of the awards to be used to implement something that positively impacts on practice or that will improve the neonatal experience for staff, babies or families.

Nominees can either apply personally or be nominated by their line manager, colleagues or parents. The nominations will be reviewed by members of the NNA board and the winners will be announced at the NNA virtual annual conference on 2 March 2023.
