WaterWipes honours outstanding healthcare professionals with £10/€10k bursary

WaterWipes is looking to reward two outstanding healthcare professionals – one in the UK and one in Ireland – with a generous bursary of £10k/€10k for their place of work to continue to improve the care of the parents and babies they serve.

WaterWipes launched the Pure Foundation Fund in 2020 to celebrate and recognise the incredible efforts of healthcare professionals who care for expectant parents, new parents and babies, whether that be providing life-saving care, guidance and reassurance, or a calm presence and kindness.

For the third year running, WaterWipes is calling for parents and healthcare professionals to nominate a care provider or colleague involved in neonatal and maternity care, who has gone above and beyond to make a difference to the lives of parents and babies. This year, a panel from WaterWipes and representatives from Bliss and the Institute of Health Visiting (iHV) from the UK and the Irish Neonatal Health Alliance (INHA) and Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) in Ireland will review all nominations and select two winners, one from the UK and one from Ireland.

Each winner will receive a bursary of £10,000 (UK) or €10,000 (Ireland) for their department to continue to improve the care of parents and babies. The winners will also receive a bulk donation of WaterWipes for their organisation, a WaterWipes Pure Foundation Fund plaque and a £100/€100 voucher to treat themselves.

How to enter

Healthcare professionals in the UK and Ireland working in the fields of maternity, health visiting/public health nursing or neonatology can self-nominate or nominate a colleague that has demonstrated outstanding care.

The deadline for entries is 30 June 2022. For further information and to submit a nomination, visit:
