Laerdal introduces Premature Anne

Laerdal, in collaboration with the American Academy of Pediatrics, has developed a realistically proportioned 25-week preterm manikin called Premature Anne. It includes an anatomically accurate airway, offering a lifelike simulation training environment to medical professionals for the support, resuscitation and stabilisation of premature babies.

The manikin is currently in use in Leicester Royal Infirmary's NICU with Consultant in Education and Neonatal Simulation Training Dr Jonathan Cusack and his team.
