Grimsby Gators dribbled all day for poorly babies

The Grimsby Gator’s basketball team slam-dunked its way to raising much needed funds for the neonatal unit at Grimsby Hospital. The team raised £350 for the HTF Little Lives Fund for the neonatal unit by hosting a day-long basketball tournament.

Gators coach Ben Williams says: “The event went really well and lots of people came along to enjoy it. It was a chance for teams to showcase the sport as well as raise money for a very worthwhile charity.”

The Little Lives Fund helps to grant wishes for women and children services at the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby.
