New neonatal palliative information launched for families
The charities Bliss and Together for Short Lives have launched new information for neonatal units to provide for families whose baby’s future is uncertain. It is extremely difficult for any family to be faced with the devastating reality of caring for a baby with an uncertain future. In these situations, we believe that families deserve to have clear and honest information outlining the options available to them and the services that can support them. To meet this need, Bliss has recently launched a new information resource – developed in partnership with Together for Short Lives – for parents who have had conversations with their care team, either during pregnancy or after birth, suggesting that their baby’s future is uncertain.
