The antenatal diagnosis and surgical management of congenital epulis
Congenital epulis is an uncommon benign swelling that can present on the gingivae of newborn infants. It is usually diagnosed on an antenatal ultrasound scan. This case report is presented to highlight diagnosis and management, following a recent case in which members of the neonatal healthcare team and other head and neck surgeons were confused by a patient presenting with this well-described lesion.
