Inspired fundraisers help north Lincolnshire and Goole hospitals' neonatal services with a party, a quiz night and basketball

Keen holidaymakers partied the day away to help raise funds for the Health Tree Foundation (HTF) charity, in aid of Scunthorpe General Hospital's neonatal unit and the Air Ambulance.

At last year's event fundraisers Lee and Emma Clay raised £2,800, while this year the event raised more than £4,000 to help the two charities.

The event took place at White House Farm camp site, Misterton, with over 400 people joining the fun. The Clay family organises the event to thank the neonatal unit, which looked after their baby boy Alfie after Emma needed an emergency caesarean section at 28 weeks due to having pneumonia. Emma says: "We are over the

moon that we have doubled the donations from last year's event. It will make a huge difference to families."

HTF is the official charity for Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust and official charity mascot Scrubs the Bear attended the event and posed for photos with attendees.
