Royal Manchester Children's Hospital upgrades mobile radiography system

Royal Manchester Children's Hospital has upgraded its mobile computed radiography (CR) system to a Fujifilm Go Flex, which transforms CR mobiles into digital radiography systems using SmartSwitch technology that allows automatic X-ray detection. It features a small and lightweight D-Evo II C24 detector designed to be used in neonatal incubators and Virtual Grid image processing technology that reduces dose by up to 50%, an important consideration when imaging neonatal and paediatric patients.
